If there was ever a shoot that embodied
Sassyfras Studios and summed it up in pictures this would be it. Can we just say that we found kindred spirits in this family. We always get a little nervous when we do an in-home shoot, especially because we never know what the home looks like. So, needless to say, we were not expecting to step into a Martha Stewart magazine... uummm but we did. Meredith and Paul's home was the most beautiful thing we had ever seen, from Mollie's perfect room, to the fresh hydrangeas all over the house, to the open cabinets, to the PERFECT rear entrance, to the red barn out back, complete with show horses, to the screened in sitting area, you could definitely tell that Meredith was a interior designer. This was such a special shoot, for one reason because there was so much history behind it. The little white dress that Miss Mollie was wearing had been worn for 3 generations and was made by her great-grandmother. The chair that she is sitting on in the outdoor pics was hand stitched by her other great-grandmother on her mom's side. The hats were hats that Meredith's grandmother had owned. All I can say is we left this shoot happier than we probably ever have before. Thank you guys so much for choosing us to take precious Mollie's pics! It was a pleasure:)
