GNOME SWEET {GNOME} : Pow Wow Workshop

We find it a pure joy when people contact us wanting to learn from us. Having started our business about 2 1/2 years ago, we often find ourselves overjoyed when we have parents or new photogs writing us for help. SO we decided to start our Pow Wow Workshops, geared more towards learning the basics, and getting these enthusiastic parents, and photogs on the right path.

We had 8 lovely women show up to our house around lunch time to start the one day extravaganza.. after intros and a full belly {southern comfort style} we began the plethora of non stop knowledge. We could talk anyone's ears off, and after 5 1/2 hours of the basics, we then turned it over and let the photogs practice what we had been preaching with a little photo-shoot Havey-G Gnome style. We wanted to show these parents how to take ordinary household items or things lying around the house, and make an adorable styled shoot with it. Since we have an infinitive for gnomes, we thought it would be the perfect direction for us to go in. THe Mushroom House was a DIY that we did as a collaboration {but mostly Lollie} came up with.. we will show DIY directions on this soon! The dress was vintage, and the hat was made by Cryssi. and we have to give a shout out to Miss Christina Block, from Christina Block Photography, who sent me the lovely gnome in the mail just this week. What a treasure and perfect additive to the shoot!  We were so thankful the rain held off so we could get this adorable shoot in, but a little sad that we didn't get to trample through the woods like our original plan.. it was all good, though and we were able to pull out this adorable little session!
